Australia Rail Goes Green

Queensland Rail have taken the initiative in opting for greener options by implementing already over 100 TerraCyclic Bio bins since the beginning of 2009 for their coal trains.

The purchase includes the optional stainless steel covers that not only lifts the aesthetics of the unit, but improves the durability, in tough environments.

When asked why TerraCyclic, they believe this method is the most convenient means of handling the feminine hygiene disposal and at the same time, is least harmful to the environment.

Locomotives, passenger carriages and railway stations will also be converted to TerraCyclic during the forthcoming months.
